He has specially articulated arm parts that allow him to be displayed with his hands together in his classic alchemy pose, and he also comes complete with parts to display his automail right arm revealed, along with parts to switch it out into a blade. He also comes with alchemy effect parts, a wall part being transmuted out of the ground and a special lower body part that allows him to be displayed crouching down. Edward Elric is a fictional anime character known for his distinctive appearance. He is a young man with a small stature, standing at only 165 cm (5'5") tall, and a slender build. Edward's most recognizable feature is his golden-blond hair that falls over his forehead and down his back, often styled in a braid. He wears a red coat with black pants and a black shirt underneath. He also wears black boots and fingerless gloves, which are inscribed with his unique array (a pattern of symbols that allows him to perform alchemy). Edward's mechanical right arm and left leg made of steel, which he had bound to his body after a failed alchemical ritual, give him incredible strength and agility.

Edward Elric's story begins when he is just a young boy, living with his younger brother Alphonse and their mother. After losing their mother to illness, the two boys attempt to bring her back to life with alchemy. However, their attempt fails, and Edward loses his left leg while Alphonse loses his entire body. In an attempt to save his brother, Edward sacrifices his right arm to bind Alphonse's soul to a suit of armor. The two brothers begin a journey to search for the Philosopher's Stone, hoping to use it to restore their bodies to their original form. Along the way, they join the military and become State Alchemists, tasked with the job of maintaining peace and order in their country. Throughout their adventures, Edward faces many challenges, including fighting powerful adversaries and facing the consequences of his past mistakes. However, with his intelligence, determination, and his unwavering love for his family, Edward inspires those around him and ultimately learns the true meaning of sacrifice.
