Pennywise is a fictional anime character from the 2017 horror movie "It". The character's eyes are yellow and seem to be watching you despite the character's stationary position. It has a bald head with a red tuft of hair at the top and pointy ears, making the character appear more demonic than a typical innocent clown.

The story of Pennywise starts when a group of children in Derry, Maine, discovers that their town has been plagued by an evil entity disguising itself as a clown named Pennywise. Every 27 years, Pennywise awakens and preys on the children of Derry, feeding on their fears and killing them. The children band together to defeat Pennywise and protect their town from the entity's terror. Pennywise is known for its shapeshifting powers, transforming into the scariest tangible form to its victims.
